Friends and Family are central to our lives. Both of us have many friends that we’ve kept throughout the years, frequently talking with pals from grade school, high school and college. It’s fantastic to have friends locally and around the United States that we can visit and have visit us! We enjoy spending time with friends and family whether it’s just getting together at home or going to local events. We have many traditions which include going to the fair in the summer, taking a family vacation to Eastern Washington and visiting the pumpkin patch at Halloween.
We have a number of friends who are adopted or have adopted children and it’s been great to experience first hand how amazing adoption can be!
December is especially exciting as we always make sure to get in our favorite traditions such as decorating gingerbread houses, baking Christmas cookies, going on a holiday boat ride around Lake Union to see the decorated houseboats and a drive to see holiday lights! Maybe the best part about our traditions is that 99% of the time they include our friends and family – our motto is the more the merrier! Our family lives in the area and are excited to help us celebrate the milestones of our child’s life.
